iPad & iPhone version of Ham Morse available to beta test

Published by at 2:43 pm under HamMorse

As you can see from the screenshots below I’ve been working on a new look for the Ham Morse app. The main goal is to provide more room for the relevant parts of the interface – the text, the most often used controls, etc. and to simplify the interface at the same time. For example the Tone slider has been moved to the settings page as it is not frequently used and that helps save space for the other controls.

The new version of the app works on both iPhones and iPads and I’m looking for some help to test the new version prior to its release. If you are interested in helping test the app and are running iOS8+ send me an email and then I can send you an invitation to the beta test program to give the app a try. Note that while the app itself works on iOS6+, the test environment only works for folks running iOS8+ on their devices so unfortunately if your device is running an earlier version of iOS then you can’t help with the testing at this point.

As always, any thoughts or comments most welcome!
